The Healthy Ageing, Allied Health Care and Nursing research group conducts practice-based academic research into frailty in the paramedical and nursing domain. Research is being done into how frailty can be measured and how it can be prevented or reduced. The research mainly focuses on daily exercise, adequate nutrition and muscle function, but also on social and psychological aspects and optimal development of children.
