Riikka Theresa Innanen is a Finland based artist specialised in social choreography and multidisciplinary collaborations. They currently hold the position of a part-time lecturer at UniArts Helsinki, Dance Pedagogy, facilitating Reflective Documentation for PIMDI. Since graduating from School for New Dance Development (SNDO/AHK, 1997) in Amsterdam, they have toured internationally both as dancer and choreographer.
Outside art/academia, they have engaged in social advocacy and activism (minority and refugee rights), work as a certified kundalini yoga teacher specialised in trauma sensitive and non-binary practices.
