Thesis

The third and last semester you will apply your knowledge and skills in a research project at a company or a research centre. Based on this research you will write your thesis under the supervision of (a core professor), (a professor of the specialisation and) a professor from the project provider.

A few examples of theses from our students: 

• Optimisation of a hydrogen supply chain for heating in a residential area: a minimisation of costs for EnTranCe | Centre of Expertise Energy 

• District heating network generation selection model based on lowest TCO for specific groups of houses in the North of the Netherlands for Ekwadraat 

• The development and validation of hydrogen concepts for the mobility and heat sectors through the use of SMOOTH – an open source framework for Reiner Lemoine Institute
