ICT facilities

Every student of the Hanze University of Applied Sciences has their own login account and email address. With this account you can log in to all computers of the Hanze. You also have access to programmes that you need during your studies, such as Osiris (for the overview of your grades, registration exams and education) and Blackboard (for document sharing and news from your teachers about a particular course). You will also occasionally receive messages from Hanze via your email address that are important to you, for example, in the form of an e-zine.

Do want work wirelessly when you are not at Hanze University of Applied Sciences? As a student of the Hanze, you can use the Eduroam network at school and in other cities with your login details. With your OV-chipkaart or a Campus Print App offered by Hanze University of Applied Sciences, you can log into printers anywhere. You can print from a fixed computer or laptop. This also allows you to copy and scan at the printer. Via iDEAL you can top up your personal print credit.

At Hanze University of Applied Sciences you can easily reserve project spaces, skills labs and practice rooms via WebRoomBooking. This programme gives you the opportunity to reserve a room from school, home or on the road. At almost all locations you can use WebRoomBooking to reserve a space for yourself or your project group.

All programmes, with the exception of the programmes of the Prince Claus Conservatoire and the Lucia Marthas Institute for Performing Arts, use a digital timetable called Digirooster. As a student, you can consult your class schedule via Digirooster. Did you know that you can also subscribe to Digirooster so that you will receive schedule changes directly via messages on your phone?

Do you wish to protect your computer against viruses, or do you want to purchase a specific program? With the login details of your account you can log into Surfspot. Here you will find legal software, reference books, course materials and hardware at affordable prices.

As a student and employee of the Hanze University of Applied Sciences, you can download the latest version of Microsoft Office for free on up to five devices. You can download Office from portal.office.com. Log in here with your Hanze login details.

The ICT Support Centre is there to help you with faulty equipment. You can report defective personal computers, broken printers or plug-in points to the Support Centre right away. These will be repaired as soon as possible. Click here to contact the ICT Support Centre.

The AV/ICT helpdesk can be found at Zernikeplein 11, in the Van DoorenVeste. You can visit the helpdesk if you have any questions or if you want to borrow audiovisual equipment, such as digital cameras, voice recorders and tripods. A video editing room is also available.
