English course offer
Are you planning your internship or study abroad or do you just want to practice your general communication skills in English, then this course is for you. In this course, students work on improving all four English language skills: reading, listening, writing, and speaking. Vocabulary and grammar are addressed in the writing assignments, vocabulary list, and reading and discussing of current (newspaper) articles. Grammar is assessed in the form of an exam.

This module focuses almost entirely on improving your academic English reading skills and partly on your academic speaking skills. You will learn to read professional publications quicker and more efficiently by reading several publications within your own field of study, and you will expand your (mostly) passive academic vocabulary knowledge and create your own personalised academic vocabulary list with vocabulary/jargon from the Academic Word List and your own field of study. Finally, you will give a poster presentation on an academic article of your own choosing.

In this course, you will work on improving all four English skills to an intermediate level: reading, listening, writing, and speaking. Formality and academic vocabulary are addressed in the writing assignments, reading and discussing of current (newspaper) articles, and a presentation in which you utilise your own study background and expertise.
