The Solar Energy module gives an overview of solar energy technologies, with an emphasis on photovoltaic (PV) conversion and a basic treatment of low-temperature solar thermal conversion. Both theoretical and technical topics are discussed. This is complemented by some practical work on PV panels and presenting a literature research project.
