Making communications more effective lies at the heart of successful behaviour change initiatives.

Module 4: Behaviour Change Facilitator (15 ECTS)

There is a real business need for communicators to be able to facilitate and design their communications through a behavioural lens.

In your role as behaviour change facilitator, you will:

  • create and implement social marketing strategies and interventions that benefit people and society.
  • build stakeholder trust and facilitate (behaviour change) processes and decision-making in culturally diverse groups.
  • reflect upon appropriate impact as a facilitator.

Being a reflective professional is essential in any profession and while it is address in every module in the MIC, in the context of behaviour change communication is even more important. In the context of behaviour change communication professionals must be able to adapt to evolving social and environmental challenges and engage with diverse perspectives. Continuous reflection fosters ethical, effective, and context-sensitive communication that drives meaningful and lasting change.
