'I provide a consultant approach to my customers and collaborate across LinkedIn'

Otavio Goncalves graduated from the Master in International Business & Management in 2018. He now works as a Customer Success Manager for LinkedIn, focusing on Latin America markets (Spanish-speaking countries).

'I am responsible for driving outcomes aligned with customer's objectives and metrics as well as leverage usability of Linkedin Solutions. What I find most interesting about my job is that I can provide a consultant approach to my customers and collaborate across LinkedIn. I also like participating on specific projects, helping out the team, and going to the Office onsite in Sao Paulo.

Previously, I was a Customer Success Manager for a Turkish Company, called Insider, and later on I applied for an open position at Linkedin. This was my second attempt joining Linkedin. The first time I tried was in 2018, after finishing my MBA degree with the MIBM programme at Hanze.

Aspects that I learned in the Master in International Business & Management that I can apply in my job, are intercultural competences, collaboration skills, and research. My job requires a lot of researching, looking for different ways to help customers and being creative. I believe those were aspects I learned from the MIBM programme. I am planning to grow in my position, hopefully getting promoted to a senior position, and maybe come back to a sales position in the future.'
