Jacob Groote

Jacob Groote is an endowed professor at the Digital Transformation research group. With his extensive experience at KPN and background in physics, he focuses on business innovation with modern telecommunications through his research assignment Business Innovation with Connected Systems.

Jacob Groote brings a wealth of experience from both academia and business to his role as Special Professor at Digital Transformation. He has a background in physics and has built an impressive career at KPN. There, he was involved in important projects such as the rollout of 4G and the commercial introduction of 5G. Jacob aims to bridge the gap between technology and business objectives. This is clearly reflected in his motto: "Business First, Technology Second".

BICS makes KPN's broad implementation experience accessible to other parties. Jacob uses his passion for technology and innovation to solve real business problems.
